We introduced Power Failure Detector to the world in June of 2020.  Internet Outage Detector followed 3 years later, in July of 2023. And a few months later we are happy to offer you a combination of these two detectors:

• Be alerted when either A/C power or Internet WiFi fails: get a text message, email or a push notification when power goes off or comes back on and when internet fails and is restored
  
• All alerts, Power ON and Power OFF,  Internet ON and Internet OFF are configured independently; every one can be disabled if desired. 
• Name each device and send notifications to identify the power outlet or WiFi network affected

Be alerted away from home or business 
MySpool Power Failure and Internet Outage Detector is a smart device that sends an alert when power failure is detected and when an internet outage occurs.  An alert is also sent when power or internet comes back on. That alert is a message, either via email or text, or both. 

No Hub Required 
Each Power Failure and Internet Outage Detector works independently with your Wi-Fi network. Multiple devices can be placed in different locations throughout your home or business. Your notifications will include your text for each device that you specify in the device configuration.

No Fees 
There are no fees for using MySpool Power Failure and Internet Outage Detector for any notifications. Power Failure and Internet Outage Detector purchased on MySpool.com comes with support for 1 telephone number and up to 5 email addresses for alert notifications. Flexible design 
MySpool Power Failure and Internet Outage Detector will ignore short duration power fluctuations of less than 2 seconds so that no unnecessary notifications are sent. Note that since no device is permitted to send more than 1 alert per minute, your POWER ON notification may be delayed by up to 1 minute if power comes back on immediately. Each device requires 3 AAA batteries, included. The batteries should last 5 years or more assuming average power outages and fluctuations.

Internet detection service sends multiple status updates to MySpool cloud service per minute.  If two or more are missed, the service sends Internet OFF alert. It usually takes 1-3 minutes for this alert to be generated and delivered.  Once internet connectivity is restored, an Internet ON alert is sent.

Whether you are running a coffee shop with free wifi or have gadgets that rely on wifi at home, it helps to know when your internet service becomes unavailable or when power outage occurs. This device will let you know when either of these vital services fails.
